SoleMate Run

This Privacy Policy explains how SoleMate Run, published by Over Tech Apps, handles user information.

Data Collection

This app may collect information necessary to provide, secure, and improve the service.

This app includes a login or account system. Information such as an email address, user identifier, or authentication-related data may be used to create and manage your account.

Types of Data

• Account information such as email address or user identifier
• Profile preferences such as shoe size, terrain type, running usage, and language
• Saved favorites, questionnaire answers, recommendation results, and personal shoe ratings
• App activity and analytics necessary to provide and improve app features

Third-Party Services

This app may use third-party services to provide certain features, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, or backend infrastructure.

• Google Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In for account access
• Google Cloud Firestore for account data and synchronization
• Google Firebase Analytics for aggregated app usage analytics

Data Retention

Account-linked personal data is retained while your account is active and only for as long as necessary to provide account access, synchronization, app features, security, and support.

When you delete your account in the app, deletion of the account and its associated personal data is processed immediately after confirmation. Requests submitted by email are processed within 30 days after account ownership has been verified.

The deletion covers:

• Your authentication account and user identifier.
• Your email address and profile name.
• Your runner profile and preferences, including shoe size, terrain, running usage, and language.
• Your saved favorite shoes.
• Your saved questionnaire answers and latest recommendation results.
• Your personal shoe ratings.

Aggregated or de-identified analytics, aggregate shoe popularity counts, and aggregate community rating data that cannot be linked back to your deleted account may be retained. Information may also be retained only for as long as required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

How to Request Account and Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and associated personal data:

1. In the app: sign in, open the Profile tab, select Delete account, and confirm the deletion. For security, you may be asked to sign in again.
2. Without the app: email Over Tech Apps at overtechapps@gmail.com from the address linked to your account. Include “SoleMate Run” and clearly request deletion of your account and associated data.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your data on the legal bases of performing our contract with you (providing the app’s features), your consent (for example, for advertising), and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and receive a portable copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, use the in-app options where available or contact us at the address below. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children’s Privacy

This app is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children unless explicitly stated in the app’s specific features and App Store listing.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
